Organic fertilizers like cattle manure and litter compost can help reduce the need for synthetic fertilizers in agriculture. In a study on green mustard growth, using these organic fertilizers at a higher rate with added nitrogen fertilizer led to better plant weight and leaf count. However, using only organic fertilizers without added nitrogen did not show significant differences in plant growth. This shows that organic fertilizers can be effective in reducing the use of synthetic nitrogen fertilizers for green mustard production.
