Revolutionizing Rice Cultivation: Eco-Friendly Fertilization Reduces Pollution and Boosts Yields
The study aimed to find a better way to fertilize rice grown in soil previously used for greenhouse vegetables. Different fertilization methods were tested, and it was found that reducing fertilizer can save costs and reduce pollution. The soil's chemical properties changed after the experiment, with some nutrients decreasing. More fertilizer led to higher levels of nitrogen in the soil and better rice growth. Overall, skipping some fertilizer can be beneficial for rice cultivation after growing greenhouse vegetables.
