Entomogenous fungi diversity in Dabie Mountains reveals unique community structures.
Entomogenous fungi in the Dabie Mountains were studied to see how diverse they are in different habitats, altitudes, seasons, and horizontals. The researchers found that the number of species, diversity, evenness, and dominance of these fungi varied a lot depending on where they were found. By using certain measures and analysis, they discovered that the fungi were distributed in three belts from lower altitudes upwards.
