Boosting crop yields with farmyard manure and phosphorus revolutionizes agriculture!
The researchers studied how farmyard manure, phosphorus, and zinc affect the yield of blackgram and wheat crops in Chhattisgarh. They found that using 5 tonnes of farmyard manure per hectare resulted in higher crop yields. Additionally, applying 17.2 kg of phosphorus per hectare led to the best blackgram yield and highest overall wheat-equivalent yield. Zinc levels did not have a significant impact on crop yields. After three years, the soil showed improved nutrient levels even without farmyard manure.
