Researchers tested different weed control methods in clusterbean fields over two years. They found that using a mix of imazethapyr and imazamox as a post-emergence herbicide at the 3-4 leaf stage was the most effective in reducing weed density and weight, with an 88.1% control efficiency. This treatment also led to higher pod and seed yields, as well as better economic returns compared to other herbicides tested.
