Residential sewage treatment plant in India successfully minimizes pollutants and disease-causing organisms.
A residential sewage treatment plant in India was evaluated to see how well it removes pollutants from wastewater. The plant uses a special type of bioreactor to clean the water. Samples were taken from different stages of the plant over 4 months and tested for various water quality parameters. The results showed that the plant effectively reduced levels of organic matter, solids, and other pollutants in the sewage. pH levels, alkalinity, chloride, TSS, TDS, BOD, COD, and sulphate were all significantly decreased as the water passed through the treatment process.
