New herbicide combo boosts wheat yield by defeating pesky weeds!
A study tested the effectiveness of a weed control treatment in wheat fields. The researchers used a mix of metribuzin and clodinafop-propargyl at different doses. They found that the treatment at 500-600 g/ha was as good as hand weeding in reducing weed density. This led to higher grain yield in wheat compared to other treatments. The treatment controlled grassy and broad-leaved weeds well, resulting in better crop growth.
