New approach challenges traditional understanding of global capitalism and international relations.
The article argues that the current understanding of world affairs in International Relations and International Political Economy is flawed because it lacks a historical and contradictory view of capitalism. This approach emphasizes the historical specificity of capitalism, the role of contradictions in driving its development, and the importance of class and national struggles in shaping international relations. By understanding these dynamics, it is possible to move towards a more cooperative international order.
