Personality traits linked to hidden biases against homosexuals and elderly.
The study looked at how personality traits are linked to hidden biases against gay people and elderly individuals. They used personality tests and prejudice measures to see if certain traits were connected to these biases. The results showed that being less open to new experiences was linked to having hidden prejudice against gay people, while being less agreeable was linked to having hidden ageist views. This means that people with certain personality traits are more likely to hold these biases without even realizing it. The study also found that these connections between personality and hidden prejudice were different from the connections with openly expressed prejudice.
