Ramon Llull's Method Unifies Fallacies, Revolutionizing Logical Reasoning.
Ramon Llull developed a method to unify different types of faulty arguments by focusing on contradictions and ambiguities. He showed that many arguments that seem wrong can actually be valid once you clear up the confusion. By applying his method to Aristotle's thirteen fallacies, Llull found that they all involve inconsistencies caused by different types of ambiguity. This allowed him to simplify these complex fallacies down to a single type of error called the Fallacy of Contradiction.
