Gait problems are common in neurological disorders, affecting mobility and increasing fall risk. A study compared clinical and instrumental gait analysis methods to diagnose different gait issues. Patients with various gait problems were tested using both methods. Clinicians analyzed different sets of gait data to make diagnoses, and their accuracy was compared. An automated system for gait pattern recognition was also used. The study aimed to see which method was better at diagnosing gait disorders.
