Optimizing nitrogen application boosts rice yield by up to 11.3%! 🌾💰
The study looked at how different ways of adding nitrogen to Tiejing No. 11 rice affected its growth and yield. They found that adding more nitrogen improved things like chlorophyll levels, photosynthesis, and grain weight, leading to higher yields. Applying nitrogen later in the growth stage was best for lower or medium nitrogen levels, helping with photosynthesis and increasing yield. Using a specific ratio of nitrogen at different growth stages increased the yield by 2.8%-11.3%. This shows that the way nitrogen is added to rice plants can make a big difference in how well they grow and produce grains.
