The CARIFORUM group of countries successfully negotiated an Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) with the European Union (EU), standing out as the only group to achieve this. Their key to success was effective cooperation among small developing nations within CARIFORUM, facilitated by the CRNM regional institution. Lessons from this negotiation process can benefit other developing countries in trade policy and negotiations.
