The study aimed to assess water availability at the Halfway Wash and Virgin River confluence, and simulate water diversion for downstream needs. A diversion dam and pumping station were designed to transfer water to an off-site storage dam. Using flow data from gauge sites, a model was created to predict water availability at the project site. The infrastructure for the project was accurately sized through this modeling effort.
