Tilapia fish were raised in ponds of different sizes and depths in Malawi. The study found that Oreochromis karongae grew best in smaller ponds, while Tilapia rendalli had the highest growth rate. Overall, fish in deeper ponds grew bigger. Smaller but deeper ponds were recommended for better fish production.
