The article presents a method to reduce costs of industrial products by using Axiomatic Design. By combining Response Surface Methodology and Axiomatic Design, the researchers can predict design parameters for similar products in a product family. This helps meet functional requirements at a set cost. The study focuses on developing rubbercork raw material.
