In this study, scientists at Aristotle University focused on improving regional climate predictions for Europe through the CORDEX project. They ran simulations using the Weather Research Forecasting model driven by different datasets. Two hindcasts and a historical simulation were conducted and compared to real data to check accuracy. Results showed that the model was able to replicate climate conditions closely. The research aimed to enhance our understanding of regional climate patterns by utilizing advanced modeling techniques.
