A new method using a bidirectional Cuk converter was tested to track the maximum power point of solar panels. By ensuring the panels operate at their peak power, more solar energy can be efficiently used. The study simulated a photovoltaic system in Matlab/Simulink and found that this method is feasible for maximizing solar energy utilization.
