The researchers modified the AHP/ANP method by using fuzzy numbers to determine weight values for criteria and alternatives. This helps in making decisions when there is uncertainty. The method considers the level of uncertainty of the decision maker and generates various sets of criterion values. It also allows for the synthesis of optimal criterion values in group decision making scenarios. The methodology was applied to assess management plans in West Serbia.
