The study looked at water supply risk in the Hanjiang River basin by using a model that predicts water demand, allocates water resources optimally, and analyzes water supply risk. They found that as water demand increases and more water diversion projects are built, the risk of water supply in the area will also increase, especially for units that directly use water from the river. This research helps in making better decisions for managing water resources in the long term as the environment changes.
