Revolutionizing Systems Engineering: Agile Approaches Redefine Success in Development
Agile systems engineering is a topic of debate, with different perspectives on how Agile principles can be applied. The paper explores various reasons for using Agile in systems engineering, different types of systems it can be applied to, and different approaches within Agile systems engineering. There is no single definition of Agile, with views ranging from fast-paced delivery to tailoring traditional systems engineering methods. The paper analyzes these perspectives against Agile software principles, Snowdon's Cynefin Framework, and Ring's Value Cycle, leading to 14 observations about Agile systems engineering approaches.
