The study looked at how the quality of the environment in Jiangsu Province affects economic growth. They found that as the economy grows, environmental quality initially gets worse, but then improves once a certain level of development is reached. By analyzing data from 2005 to 2014, they showed that industrial pollution in Jiangsu Province is increasing. To address this, they suggest adjusting the industrial structure, increasing investment in environmental protection, and changing the way the economy grows to ensure healthy and sustainable development.
