The Grand River watershed in southern Ontario has faced water quality issues due to rapid population growth and climate change. The Grand River Conservation Authority was formed to address these challenges. Integrated watershed management has been successful in improving water quality, but ongoing stressors remain. Lessons from the Grand River show that this approach can effectively address evolving water issues and lead to positive outcomes.
