A new pipeline coating has been developed and tested for use on hot pipelines operating at high temperatures above 65°C (150°F). Traditional coatings are not effective at these temperatures, so a new coating was needed. The new coating system can be applied in the field to existing hot pipelines or new pipelines that will operate at high temperatures. This coating system allows pipelines to be protected from corrosion even at elevated temperatures, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
