The article explores what makes European banks profitable. They looked at data from 28 banks over 10 years. They found that having more money saved up and being bigger helps banks make more profit. But having too many bad loans can hurt profits. Also, banks with lots of deposits tend to make more money. This study gives us new insights into what successful banks in Europe do.
