The article discusses how traditional methods struggle to meet high reliability requirements in product design. By combining Axiomatic Design theory with reliability design, a new approach is proposed to address this challenge. The paper reviews common reliability design methods, introduces key concepts of Axiomatic Design theory, and explores the relationship between complexity and reliability design. The research progress on the reliability Axiomatic Design method is analyzed, leading to a proposed research direction using this theory to solve reliability design issues. The future trends in this area are also discussed.
