Fuzzy Logic Boosts Solar Panel Efficiency for Maximum Power Production
A new fuzzy logic based algorithm was developed to track the maximum power point of solar panels in changing environmental conditions. The goal was to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic panels by ensuring they operate at their maximum power point. The researchers compared this new fuzzy logic technique with a traditional Perturb and Observe method. Results from simulations showed that the fuzzy logic approach was more stable in producing power from the solar panels.
