Urbanization in Henan Province from 2011 to 2015 was studied to see how cities are growing and changing. By looking at how close cities are in terms of travel time, researchers found that cities in the north are more urbanized than those in the south. Over the years, urbanization levels in the province have gone up, with cities growing at different rates but becoming more similar. The more a city grows, the less difference there is between cities. Urbanization levels are higher in the northwest and lower in the southeast, and this trend is getting stronger over time.
