Malaysia's e-Procurement to Revolutionize Supply Chain Performance in Public Sector
Electronic procurement, also known as e-Procurement, was introduced in Malaysia in 2000 to modernize government purchasing processes. The government aims to transition all suppliers and federal agencies to electronic procurement. A study on Malaysia's e-Procurement initiative reveals that both buyers and sellers believe it will improve supply chain performance, especially in the public sector. Suppliers' readiness and perceptions towards e-Perolehan adoption were examined, highlighting the potential benefits and challenges of implementing e-Procurement in Malaysia.
