New Method Enhances Image Clarity and Speed, Outperforms Traditional Techniques.
The article introduces a new method called Gray Level-Median Histogram Based 2D Otsu's Method, which is better at handling noise in images. Instead of using the average brightness level, this method uses the middle brightness level to create a clearer image. By processing the edges and noisy areas differently, it reduces noise and enhances edges. This method independently selects the best threshold for each dimension, making it faster and more effective than traditional methods. The experiments show that this new method is more resistant to noise and processes images quicker, especially for low-quality images.
