The Integrated Flood Analysis System (IFAS) model was used to study flood risks in the Kelantan river basin. By analyzing rainfall data, the model can predict how much water will flow in the river during a flood event. This information helps create flood maps to warn people in advance and reduce damage. The study focused on a region with a history of floods and plenty of data to develop the model.
