Literature Availability Boosts Memory and Quantitative Skills in Children!
The study looked at how different types of cognitive environments, like mass-media, literature, and play materials, are related to children's cognitive abilities. They tested 150 kids in three schools and found that mass-media didn't have a strong link to cognition, except for overall cognition. Literature availability was linked to quantitative and memory skills, while play materials didn't show a significant connection to any cognitive aspects.
