The article investigates if Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects help Nigeria develop sustainably by analyzing a selected group of such projects in the country. The focus is on how these projects affect the environment and economy based on global sustainable development standards. The research aims to understand if CDM projects in Nigeria truly promote sustainability. If these projects are not contributing to sustainable development, the study suggests changes to the CDM policy may be necessary.
