The article discusses how including Facilities Management (FM) early in Building Information Modelling (BIM) can improve building performance. By gathering data from interviews at a university building in the UK, the study shows that different perspectives on FM can be challenging to incorporate in building design. The research suggests that involving the FM team during design and construction is crucial for better building performance.
