The article examines how the green food industry in China affects economic growth quality. By analyzing data from 1996 to 2010, the researchers found that the green food industry's domestic sales, exports, and real outputs have a positive long-term correlation with economic growth quality. Domestic sales and exports have a one-way causal relationship with economic growth quality, while real outputs have a slight two-way causal relationship. Variance decomposition analysis shows that domestic sales, exports, and real outputs have different effects on economic growth quality.
