A study looked at different types of wheat to find the best combinations for high yield and quality. They crossed eight wheat types and found some pairs had better results than others. One pair, BL 3065 x DBW 16, showed the highest increase in grain yield. Another pair, UP 2596 x NAPHAL, had more tillers and spikelets. And UP 2754 x NAPHAL had the highest protein content. These combinations could help create new wheat varieties with better yields and quality.
