US Multinational Hotels in Saudi Arabia Transforming HRM Policies and Practices
Global competition has led American multinational companies to transfer their HRM policies and practices to subsidiaries in Saudi Arabia. The study aims to see how much of these policies are transferred and what factors help or hinder the process. The researchers used a mix of document analysis, focus group interviews, and in-depth interviews in four US-owned hotel chains in Riyadh. The findings shed light on how home and host country effects influence HRM practices in MNCs in the Middle East.
