A study in Nepal evaluated 117 different types of maize plants from 20 companies to find the best ones for winter planting. They tested the plants at three different locations and found that some hybrids were both high-yielding and stable across different environments. The top three performing hybrids in the first year were P3856, Bisco prince, and Shaktiman, while in the second year, it was 3022, Kirtiman manik, and Top class. These hybrids could be good choices for farmers to grow in similar areas in Nepal.
