A new method has been developed to make images clearer by adjusting their contrast. This method uses a special type of histogram to improve the brightness and sharpness of pictures without making them look too artificial. By filling in missing information in the histogram and keeping the original shape, this technique prevents images from looking overly enhanced. Tests have shown that this method works well both visually and when measured objectively.
