Survey reveals key factors shaping plant life in Pakistan's Vehari district.
The scientists studied the plants in Vehari, Pakistan, using TWINSPAN and CCA to group them based on their environment. They found 35 plant species in 23 families. The plants were divided into two main communities and further into subcommunities based on dominant species. The researchers also looked at how the plants were related to environmental factors like soil pH and water quality. They discovered that soil pH and water pH and EC were the most important factors affecting where the plants grew. This information can help protect the biodiversity in Vehari.
