The article introduces an R package called lfda, which helps with a method called local Fisher discriminant analysis. This method is used to simplify complex data into fewer dimensions while keeping important information. The package includes tools for different types of local Fisher discriminant analysis and ways to visualize the results in either 2D or 3D.
