The study looked at air pollution and weather conditions in Handan City, China in 2013-2014. They found that air quality improved in 2014, with fewer days of heavy pollution and more days meeting standards. Pollutant levels decreased compared to the previous year. Emission-reduction measures were effective in reducing the duration of heavy pollution weather events. The city's efforts to control air pollution, especially during the APEC meeting, were successful.
