Kriging interpolation was used to estimate daily rainfall data in an area with limited measurements. By comparing Kriging with other methods like simple arithmetic mean and Inverse Distance Weighting, it was found that Kriging provided the most accurate estimates with the lowest Root Mean Square Error. This method preserves statistical characteristics well and can be useful for estimating daily rainfall in areas where data is lacking.
