Water scarcity is a big problem worldwide. Scientists studied different filters to clean seawater and stormwater before turning it into drinking water. They found that deep bed filters and fiber filters are good at removing dirt and organic matter. Sand filters work well for seawater, while fiber filters with flocculation are effective for stormwater. Finer filters are better at removing dirt, and coarser filters get clogged more slowly. This research helps improve water treatment methods for areas facing water shortages.
