The study looked at how savings and investments are connected in North Cyprus from 1983 to 2012. They used a special test to see if the two are related. The results showed that savings and investments are linked, supporting the idea that in North Cyprus, domestic investments depend on domestic savings. It was also found that investments adjust to their normal level fairly quickly, with savings playing a big role. Lastly, savings were shown to influence investments in both the short and long term.
