Unlocking the Secret to Bountiful Cauliflower Harvests in Light Soils
The study aimed to find the best way to measure available potassium for cauliflower growth in light soils of Rangareddy district. Soil samples were collected and analyzed, and a pot experiment was conducted. The researchers found that organic carbon and available nitrogen in the soil were positively correlated with NH4OAc extractable potassium. NH4OAc extractable potassium was also correlated with other extractants like NaBPh4 and citric acid. The NH4OAc extractable potassium showed the highest correlation with cauliflower yield.
