Optimal Rice Straw and Chicken Manure Ratio Speeds Up Composting
The researchers studied how different ratios of rice straw and chicken manure affect the quality of compost and how long it takes to make it. They tested five ratios and found that the best one was 6 parts rice straw to 8 parts chicken manure. This ratio produced compost with the right balance of nutrients in just 63 days. The compost had the correct pH level, moisture content, and C/N ratio, meeting quality standards.
