Revolutionizing plant growth: Rock phosphate compost boosts yields in alkaline soils
Rock phosphate is a natural source of phosphorus, but it's hard to use in alkaline soils. Scientists mixed rock phosphate with organic compost and special bacteria to make it work better. They found that a mix of 75% compost and 25% rock phosphate had the most phosphorus available for plants. Plants grown with this mix grew better than those with just compost or rock phosphate.
