New study reveals optimal building design for maximum natural light!
The goal of the paper was to study how much of the sky is visible from different buildings. The researchers used a 3D model to analyze this. They found that the sky factor is always more than the sky amount for any building shape. The biggest difference between the two is when looking up at an angle between 30° and 40° from the building's center. This difference is limited to 11% for rectangular buildings.
