The researchers improved the performance of a double basin solar still by adding external energy sources like reflectors and solar collectors. This increased the productivity of the still by up to 127.65% compared to a single basin still. The modifications enhanced both the lower and upper basins, with the lower basin's contribution rising from 29.75% to 40.6%.
